Amy has a natural ability to connect with people on a personal level, listening attentively while balancing the details with the bigger picture. She helps clients recognize and strengthen their existing skills while introducing new strategies to navigate life’s challenges.
With over 20 years of experience in counseling—including fieldwork, group practice, substance abuse treatment, day programs, and corporate settings—Amy brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Since opening her private practice in 2012, she has worked with individuals of all ages, understanding the unique pressures of various life and work environments.
Amy’s educational foundation includes a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Hartford, an advanced degree in counseling from Springfield College, and an MBA from Western New England University.
Her passion for learning led her to explore neuroscience and brain health during the pandemic, earning a certificate presented by neuroscientist Dr. Sarah McKay, PhD. Most recently, she completed intensive training with clinician and researcher Ms. Anna Lieber, LMHC, NCC/CCMHC, DE, specializing in the assessment, management, and treatment of chronic suicidality.

Erica Winterle, LPC
THERAPIST
Erica is an empathetic and insightful therapist who harnesses her expertise as a school psychologist to guide children of all ages through complex educational and life transitions. She has extensive experience working with high school, middle school, and K-3 students, as well as collaborating closely with parents and caregivers.
