Amy has unique and resourceful abilities by connecting easily with people on an individual level, by listening intently and focusing in on the details while viewing the big picture. She will help you identify and sharpen your current strengths while learning new techniques to manage life’s challenges. She has been counseling people for over 20 years; From field work, group practice, substance abuse, day programs and the corporate field, to opening her own private practice in 2012. Amy’s experience in counseling people of all ages in multiple settings, including the corporate arena allow her to understand those unique pressures and responsibilities.

Amy’s core education is founded on a masters degree in psychology from the University of Hartford, an advanced degree in counseling from Springfield College, and a MBA from Western New England University. During the pandemic Amy’s quest for knowledge led her to delve into the complexities of neuroscience and the brain, which awarded her a certificate in applied neuroscience and brain health presented by neuroscientist Dr. Sarah McKay, PhD. Recently, Amy underwent intense training to be able to understand, assess, manage, and treat chronic suicidality as presented by clinician and researcher Ms. Anna Lieber, LMHC, NCC/CCMHC, DE.
